Runswick Bay is an old fishing village in the North York Moors
National Park, North Yorkshire, and is very similar to Robin Hood's
Bay and Staithes. It is situated in a large, beautiful bay
about 9 miles north of Whitby on the Yorkshire Heritage Coast.
There is a lovely sandy beach and it is one of the most attractive
villages in the area. Artists come and paint here from far and
wide. It has a sailing club, tea rooms and pubs. .
